Questions & reassurance

How does the donation process work?: You choose your gift and amount, add your details and any Gift Aid choice, then continue to Stripe for payment. Guest checkout is available; you only need an email for your receipt. After payment, Stripe returns you to a thank-you page on this site.
How will my donation be used?: Unrestricted gifts are allocated by trustees in line with charitable objects: Bangladesh programmes, UK community and research work, and essential governance. If you choose “Bangladesh education,” your gift is planned and reported against that programme strand.
Is online giving secure?: Card numbers are entered only on Stripe Checkout, not on peacebuilder.org.uk. Stripe meets strict industry security standards; Peace Builder Trust does not store your full card details.
What is Gift Aid?: Gift Aid lets UK charities reclaim tax on eligible donations. If you say yes, HMRC expects a proper declaration including your name and address. If you are unsure, choose no or seek tax advice. We still value your gift.
